I have been low carbing for 4 days now and on Saturday I am invited to a party and I dont want to have to sit and count all the alcohol I am having all night or just have diet tonic and gin! I want to have a few cocktails and hors oeuvres!
If you have sugary cocktails and high carb foods then it's going to take you out of ketosis and you'll likely see a few lbs gain on the scale. Only 4 days in you're very likely to be in ketosis already. So it's up to you if you want to go back to square one or you can minimise the damage and stick to spirits/diet mixes and go for fewer-carb rich entrees. There are always foods you can find to eat on Atkins.
Hey having a treat day is hatful I stuck to phase one for two weeks and had a weekend off! And gained half a stone and when u have a that of sugary foods it makes you crave them more . Although if you are going to trey yourself make sure you get straight back onot ye net day or that's when you go way off track. Like me haha almost back to where I started. Also on the day you have a treat mate don't so atkins in the day just stick rep veg n fruit that's what I do when I have. A night out ( being a student every weekend)
