PS what do you do with the flax seed - and is that breakfast recipe on the website like porridge?
It's loosely like porridge in that it's a warm semi-liquid with a bit of texture.
I initially lost just over 3 stone in 6 months April - October, from a shade over 16 to under 13. This morning I was 12st6 / 174 lbs / 79 kg and is I'm 1.80m / 5'-10" that's 24.4 BMI so I'm in the "healthy" zone.
I was 12st3 earlier in the month, with a bit of focus I should be able to get to 160 lbs / 72.6 kg / 11st6 which is probably as low as I have ever been as an adult and perhaps getting a bit close to my wife's weight which may not go down well.
At dinner (evening) I usually have about 100-150g of meat or fish with at least two vegetables - typically 70-100g of green beans fried in coconut oil, steamed cauliflower, broccoli, fried leeks or similar. For dessert about 80g of raspberries with 10% fat greek yoghurt (Lidl) and sprinkled with flaxseed - often the Linwoods one with nuts in it (purple-ish pack, Holland & Barrett or online).
I have drunk alcohol throughout my weight loss - switched from real ale to vodka & diet coke - and tended to keep calories in the 1100-1500 area with 60% from fat.
I have also done a "low calorie Atkins" week or two at about 800 calories, inspired by the Newcastle University study on Type II Diabetes reversal. I don't get hungry any more so it wasn't difficult at all.
