Looking for a low-carb snack to fill you up? Want to impress dinner guests with an unusual appetiser? These avocado and bacon bites are quick and easy to make, but they look and taste fantastic.

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 6 rashers of bacon


  1. Cut the avocado in half, moving the knife around the stone.
  2. Remove the stone and slice each half into three thick slices.
  3. Using a spoon, remove the slices from their skin.
  4. Wrap each avocado slice in a rasher of bacon.
  5. Place the bacon-wrapped slices on a baking tray and grill for 5 minutes on each side.
  6. Serve immediately.
