This recipe makes a more chewy bread-like crust. The spices are optional but add a nice flavour.
Method
Whisk the wet ingredients (first three ingredients) in a small bowl. Set aside. Combine the dry ingredients (all ingredients that remain) blending thoroughly. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients; mixing well; allow to sit for 5 minutes to thicken up. Spread onto a pan with greased baking paper and spread out into a circle or square. Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Top with toppings of your choice such as spicy sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms or peppers and bake at 425°F for a few minutes or use a broiler to quickly melt cheese and toppings. Makes 8 slices.
