Looking for low-carb breakfast inspiration? These ham and cheese roll-ups are simple to prepare and will keep you going all morning.

  • 4 large eggs

    150g of grated cheese

    4 slices of ham

    50ml of unsweetened almond milk

    1 tbsp of butter

    2 tbsp of chopped chives

    Salt & pepper to season


  1. Combine eggs and milk in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add chives and grated cheese and mix thoroughly.
  3. Melt the butter in a large frying pan.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into the pan and fry – like an omelette – until the edges crisp.
  5. Flip and repeat.
  6. Remove the omelette to a plate and layer with half of the ham.
  7. Roll up the egg and ham to form a wrap, then slice into four portions.
  8. Repeat steps 4-7 with remaining eggs and ham.
  9. Serve hot or cold.
