Stuffed peppers are a traditional dish in southern Europe. Try this recipe with fresh herbs, parmesan and ground turkey and we’re sure this will be a recurring favorite.
Preheat oven to 350 F/180 C. In a pan, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until veggies are soft; remove from heat. Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Add veggie mixture to turkey mixture and mix well. Stuff into peppers, then cover with tomatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese or parmesan and bake for 50 mins.
